1. The game happens in the real world
RLC sends you to real places. You are responsible for your own safety: obey traffic laws, respect private property, stay aware of your surroundings, and never trespass to reach a clue. Clues never require you to enter restricted or dangerous areas — if one appears to, stop and report it in the app.
2. Your account
You must be 13 or older to create an account (younger adventurers can play on a parent or guardian’s team). Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Tickets and subscriptions
Tickets to official events are sold per occurrence and are refundable until the event starts. RLC Pro is a recurring subscription that raises the limits on events you create; it renews until canceled through your app store or the web billing portal. Prices are shown before every purchase.
4. Content you create
Events, clues, and photos you create remain yours; you grant RLC the license needed to host and display them to the players you invite (and to the public, if you publish publicly). You may not create content that is unlawful, hateful, or that directs players into danger. We may unpublish reported content while it is reviewed and remove content that breaks these rules.
5. Fair play
No GPS spoofing, exploit abuse, or harassment of other players. Leaderboards may be corrected and accounts suspended for cheating or abusive behavior.
6. Liability
RLC provides the game “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, RLC is not liable for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from real-world play. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued play after that constitutes acceptance.
